Have You Been BOO-ed? Start a Fun Halloween Tradition with Friends & Family This All Hallow's Eve!

Have you been BOOed? If you've got elementary or middle school-aged kids, chances are you've been BOOed in recent years, or you're at least familiar with this popular trend. Although BOOing has been around for over two decades, this fun family tradition has become a wholesome take on the usually All Hallow's Eve pranks that have dominated for decades.

You see, BOOing is all treats, with very little trick. Essentially, you put together a Halloween Basket of sweet treats and fun, festive goodies, and you leave it on your friend's doorstep, along with a note letting them know they've been BOOed, according to BeenBooed.com. The note should include the "You've Been Booed" Poem, which has been floating around the internet for decades now, as well as a little sign for them to hang to let everyone know that they've been BOOed, so that neighbors know to go BOO other families in the neighborhood, so that everyone can get in on the fun.

Tradition holds that once you've been BOOed, you're supposed to keep the fun train going by BOOing someone else in the neighborhood - just be sure to include the Been Booed info & instructions, which you can print out here, so that they too can keep the fun rolling all October long - you can find the Been BOOed Sign & Poem here, in a variety of color and style choices.

The idea is to surprise families throughout your neighborhood with a Been BOOed Halloween Surprise, and for them to get the momentum going by continuing to BOO other local families, until the entire neighborhood has gotten in on the fun!
