Jefferson Park

While me and my friends decided to poke around there and respectfully trying to get into contact with whatever spirit was out there, it got pretty dark. We showed up at 9:45 and the lights went off at 10. First, me and my friends went to the swing set and called out to spirits to see if anyone would respond. Within 2 minutes the swing to the right of me started moving back and forth. After that we moved to the zip line chair and while i was communicating to whomever was there, the chair moved back 5 inches and it felt like i was being pushed. And what really made everyone scared to death was over by the benches in the darkest part of the jungle gym area we went there to pray for any lost or trapped souls. When praying, I said “we believe there to be a demonic entity lurking around here, we aren’t for sure but we believe something is around.” As soon as I had said that, boom! It felt like my neck was grabbed vigorously and my friend had almost thrown up and got very light headed and the sprinklers behind us had turned on even tho they had already done the cycle while we were there. While we ran to my car we heard a loud shriek coming from where we were sitting previously. It definitely feels like there are more than one spirits connected to this park. Some good, some horrendously bad.

Once the lights go out; it’s game on. I’ve never experienced seeing the woman walking between the tree but I’ll share some other CHILLING experiences.
•2 separate times a man appeared suddenly and just stared silently my way (even when I shone a flashlight in his face) on top of the large slide platform (had been there for an hour and walked by the slide and there was no one)
•the 3 spring cars swayed back and fourth for hours, even after attempting to stop the motion on a windless night. (EMF meter was reading off the chart numbers- I thought it was going to break)
•saw a woman walking very fast in the neighborhood Nextdoor with 2 animals following (no leashes) then she just disappeared. Ran to the alley to see if she went down there, but nope. The animals just sat on two post in a front yard.
•heard a man scream “god no, please fuck no”
•heard a woman scream 2x
•an unmarked car pulls in parking lot-and backs up near bathroom 3 men get out and opened the maintenance room (electrical room or water room?) grabbed some items from there, locked it back up and left. (Not the janitorial crew I’ve seen times before) Another car pulled in the parking lot shortly there after and back in a spot and a man just got out and stared over the park like he knew I had seen what happened earlier (as I was hiding in fear on the playground equipment)
•saw a guy suddenly enter the park and walk so swiftly (crossed the entire length of the grass in the front of the park in less than 1 min) I could’ve sworn he was on a hover board or scooter. But as he walked under a street light in the neighborhood, I saw he was just on foot.
•walked around the perimeter of the park, only to find a freshly activated glow bracelet near the swings that was NOT there 10mins prior.
•strange light anomalies in surrounding buildings/houses.
•the zip line chair was at a stand still in the middle of the zip line, and just began moving forward quickly. (The force needed to move it from the middle is surprised difficult- usually your zip line stops at this point cuz of lack of enertia
•lots of repetitive words over spirit box: demon, Tama, Patricia (Susan morris is the woman who was murdered nearby in 1989)
•a stray dog or coyote followed closely behind around park then just vanished

my brothers and their friend were at this park around 11-12 pm and were just there exploring and then my oldest brother went to the playground alone and (my brother was being stupid and was mocking about what happened to her and there was like a rollor coster chair swing that you could push the top up to get in then close it to swing and after when he was mocking her then he went alone to the playground and then the top flew down because it was up and he ran to his other friends and told them then they all went to the swing and the noticed that you had to put a lot of force to push it down i dont know if this is just a coincidence because it was windy or this was really the lady giving him a warning i dont really know because i wasnt there my brother just told me the story they might go back there but who knows i was watching some past youtube videos of people investigating this place and it shows that she was r4ped and k!lled there in the bathroom or at the park and she traped there because of this but this is just what happened to my brother so i dont know if its a coincidence or her.

I was born and raised right here in Mesa and went to Jefferson elementary from k-6th grade. And when I was a kid it was the closest park around so I went there for many birthday parties and other get to get hers and even just to play. When I got into my late teens I had some friends that lived in the corner house across from the darkest part of the park back by the soft ball field and volleyball court. And when we would all be hanging out at our friends house his mom would kick us out for being to loud so we would end up at the Ramada by the volleyball court and this park is very dark. But I remember when I was a kid I heard about the woman that was raped and left for dead in the park just before midnight among several other stories of stabbings and shootings there. It was a real bad area when I was a kid. But one night when I found out the haunting was more than a myth my friends and I were hanging out at the park and we usually seen or heard weird things there at night but this night somewhere around 11:00 pm I heard something that made my blood run cold and by the sudden silence of my friends i wasnt the only one that heard it. But I heard plain as day a female voice cry for help not just once but several times like she was in desperate need of help. We called out to her a few times and we heard it some more, but as we ran around looking for her we never found her. And when you thought you were headed in the right direction it would move somewhere else. But that next weekend we were all there again and this time we heard her at first and then I seen it across theway by the softball field I seen and so did my friends a silhouette of a person walk from behind a tree to another one but instead of passing by the tree and keep going suddenly it came out from behind another tre a few yards away from the one it went behind going the opposite direction. And it kept doing this like it would go behind a tree and teleport to another to walk out from behind. So we decided to find out if it was really someone out walking around or not and took of running to catch the person but we were never able to catch it the closest I got was like 5 yards away and it went behind the tree I was running towards but there was nothing there when i got there and as close as i was when i seen it that time it was still just a really dark shadow and it seemed to be most active between 11:30 and 12:00 am but it is still pretty scary and definitely never went in the park alone at night after that

went 2 nights ago with my friend and gf. once the lights went off at 10pm things got pretty weird. my friend got a bad headache suddenly and started seeing things out of her peripheral vision. we tried our hardest to stay til 11:30 (cause that’s when i hear people usually see her) but just couldn’t. felt too eerie. whole ride home we felt that weird tingling sensation through our backs. gonna be giving an update here soon. going back with my gf sometime this week.

November 2023

I went there twice. Didn't actually enter the park because it's closed but walked slowly adjacent on its sidewalk. First visit was at 10:00-10:30 pm. The park shuts off all their lights after 10:00, so it's very creepy in the park with no lights on, don't know how people can see ghosts in such darkness, but yeah I can imagine how horrific it would be to stand in the middle of that park at around 11:30 pm in pitch darkness and experience ghosts, that would be like shrill terror. When walking by the park from the westside at around 10:20ish, I thought I heard an "Eeek!" from the middle of the park. It was a girlish sounding shriek, but no one was in that part of the park that I could see, and it was dark as night in that area. This sound could've also been poultry because there was definitely poultry chatter arising from the adjacent neighborhood. I left the park to return at the designated time, 11:30 pm. When I got there I asked a departed uncle for spirit protection, because he's helped me in past. When I got to the grounds, eeirily a fire truck with no lights on drove onto the premises then drove off. My uncle was a retired fire fighter for Tempe. I didn't notice anything odd in the park, but there were people near the swings, probably vagrants, with dogs. I couldn't see them because so dark. No lights on in the park. I left, fearful of being jumped because so dark, and it's an easy place to be a victim of armed robbery or assault. I stayed until 11:45, then got out.

Went there 4 different times and there was times where we thought we saw something but we’re not sure. Don’t know if it’s true but it’s still an eerie feeling.

tbh me and my family go there all the time to play softball and take the kids to the park to play, but we never heard or seen anything, but when we get back home we do hear weird things going on like random stuff falling down we didn’t think much of it cause our uncle just pasted away so we were thinking it’s him who knows though.. it’s not a bad park.

August 2022

A friend and I went to see if this was all true. We didn’t hear anything. My friend couldn’t see anything. I swore I saw something but I wasn’t sure. Only thing I can confirm is we both got really nauseous and weak out of nowhere and were fine when we went back to my truck. Probably going to go back soon to try again.

I went to the park and was scary she wanted me to call me . She came so close to me multiple times I took an emf meter said there was multiple ghost around the area. The lady even screamed in my ear. I it was a horrible experience. I will never go there again I was walking there around 11:30 to if she was real and she was of course. I brought my ghost box tried to talk to her spirit she admitted to every thing they say is true. She even could be heard saying she did not like me. She is one evil spirit. Got home felt weird when I went to bed I hear a book fly off my book shelf . All night slept funny then I hear another scream in my ear . She is real every one!!!!
