Vulture Gold Mine
Wickenburg, AZ 85390
Once Arizona's most successful gold mine, the settlement of Vulture City and the Vulture Gold Mine, were abandoned in the 1940s due to the War Production Board closing non-essential mines to focus on the war efforts. Rocks have been thrown, footsteps have been heard and ghost sighting have been reported on the old mine site. Even the cast members of Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures attest to this being a hotspot for paranormal activity.
