The Superstition Mountains are located right outside of Apache Junction, east of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The area is a popular hiking destination and is known to be a hot spot for paranormal activity as well. According to local legend, these mountains are home to the "Lost Dutchman's Mine." Visitors have reported that while they are in the mountains, they have spotted a mysterious light off in the distance.
